Creating Your Place of Zen

“Peace is a daily, a weekly, a monthly process, gradually changing opinions, slowly eroding old barriers, quietly building new structures.” —John F. Kennedy.

Hey there, Mea here! In this post, I will talk about how creating your physical oasis starts with loving yourself first.

I have been spending quite a bit of time re-evaluating myself and my outlook on my life. As I go through revamping my home, I am learning that it also reflects the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual change. Your home is supposed to be your place of peace, and along with yourself, you must make sure to take care of it first if you want to see positive, long-standing changes in your life. When I add something new to my current design, I take pride in it because I realized that it is connected to me in some shape or form. When I am looking for something new, I don’t stress myself searching for it; I put it out into the universe and let it come to me at the right time. It’s all about knowing yourself, loving yourself, and letting things come naturally.

As I continue to create my oasis, I notice that the positive work that I dedicate to my redesign process also affects other areas of my life. Since I have been working on making a more peaceful place to live, I noticed that I am also building closer relationships with family and friends, removing negativity, improving my health and wellness, and loving myself through self-love activities. So as you make time to redesign your home, have fun, and make sure that you are taking out time to take care of yourself. Take time out to relax and love you, away from any distractions and negativity. Your home is only as beautiful as you feel about yourself.
